Andy Schornack is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Flagship Bank Minnesota. He began his banking career in a newly chartered, high growth bank in 2005 as an intern and grew his experience with positions handling commercial lending and workouts. In 2013, an acquisition group bought ownership in Flagship Bank Minnesota and brought Andy aboard to turnaround and grow the community bank in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area. Refocusing efforts on several distinct niches (nonprofit organizations, real estate investors, businesses, and professional firms), he has achieved growth in deposits and loans through a high level of service, trust, and value. He has twice been named a ICBA Community Banker Influencer on Twitter (2014, 2015) and is an active user of social media. A Minnesota native, he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and entrepreneurial studies from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN.
